A few views into pilots’ cockpit of Mi-17 (export designation of Mi-8MT).. All three sets for Mi-17 (C002, C005 and C006) include all necessary fine parts.
These pictures show Czech Mi-17 of Rapid Reaction Force helicopter unit. These helicopters differ from those used in Bosnia by absence of the white anti-camouflage patterns and SFOR stencils. The pictures show additional armour plates around the cockpit. The location of antennas and special equipment like search light, FLIR camera and chaff/flare dispensers differs on each helicopter. The Kevlar armour carpets for the cabin are made from paper in the set. The winch is made from resin and photo-etched parts.
JeThis picture shows a SFOR helicopter, without any additional special equipment.
These three pictures can help modellers, who would like to make an armed Hip. The first picture shows Russian Mi-8MT based until 1991 in Olomouc, the other show Czechoslovak Mi-17, before the pylons were removed. The set C005 contains all possible weapon options, including some of the less common ones.
Finally, a few pictures of a really unique helicopter. Only two Electronic intelligence Mi-17Z-2s were made in Czechoslovakia and after the country split, these belonged to Slovakia.
